Sources of income

National Churches Trust:
“As a trusted partner of the
National Churches Trust, we have access to a number of additional grants for projects as part of the Partnership Grants Programme. The Programme has provided over £1 million in grant funding towards repairs at churches and chapels over the last five years, and can now support some installation of facilities. Applications should be made directly to us following our usual application procedure as on this page.”

Ride and Stride: This event is organised by the Trust as a self-help event for the participating churches who receive 50% of their share of the money raised.

Landfill Tax:  The National Churches Trust and the associated County Trusts distribute nearly £5m a year in grants (including monies from the Landfill Tax). This can be of significant help to churches in increasing any offer from a landfill operator in the area
