Gift Aid/ Just Giving:
Tax can be recovered by the Trust on any donations by tax-payers. This is particularly relevant to the sponsorship money raised on the Ride and Stride event. For those who prefer to make donations by the internet, the Just Giving site offers an ideal way of doing this.
Landfill tax:
The Government supports a scheme which allows landfill operators to make a contribution to churches in use within ten miles of their sites, which is then increased by a 90% tax credit.
