LOCAL RIDES
As a part of the Ride and Stride, we have been developing Local Rides which are centred on a small number of parishes. These enable the participants to tour their neighbouring churches, often members of the same group of parishes, and we provide notes and a map for a suggested route. This concept has proved to be very successful. Since 2009, we have been expanding the number of active Local Rides, and others are planned for future.
The idea of the Local Rides is that they offer a reasonably easy introduction to the Ride, and that they can be linked together to suit the more adventurous cyclist.
